She also addresses her own experience with house rabbits, what’s involved in getting started living with house rabbits, and some of the aspects that are challenging or at least unique as compared to living with cats or dogs; for example, the need to “rabbit-proof” your home or their dietary requirements owning partly to the fragility of their digestive system. She also points out that rabbits are generally not ideal to live in households with children under 12, but on the other hand, can often coexist quite peacefully with dogs and cats.
