Linda McLeod–founder & director of Pacific Wildlife Project, an Orange County-based wildlife rescue and recovery center with some international distinctions (including that PWP has treated more pelicans than any other facility worldwide)–discusses her long history of rescuing & rehabilitating wild birds and other creatures, the evolution and current mission of the Project, a current crisis with starving brown pelicans, the Project’s volunteer program and unusual funding approach, & more.
