by | Jul 26, 2004

HeatherHerman–the 15-year-old Denver activist who made national news when her stand against the plight of circus animals resulted in her spearheading an effort to place an initiative on the primary ballot that would ban wild animal performances in Denver–discusses how she arrived at her position on circus animals, formed an organization to address the situation,  and approached the task of placing the measure on the ballot, as well as other animal issues that particularly concern her.
